In a nostalgic revival, classic rock bands Styx and Foreigner are embarking on the Renegade & Juke Box Heroes tour next summer, marking their first collaboration in a decade.

Styx and Foreigner, two iconic bands with an extensive history, are set to ignite stages across the country in the highly anticipated Renegade & Juke Box Heroes tour.

The tour, which hasn’t happened in a decade, promises a musical journey through their timeless hits and fan favorites.

As part of their nationwide tour, Styx and Foreigner will be making a stop at the Pavilion at Star Lake, just outside Pittsburgh, on July 31, 2024.

The venue will play host to an electrifying night of classic rock, with both bands taking turns as headliners. Styx, renowned for anthems like “Come Sail Away” and the Pittsburgh-favorite “Renegade,” will close the show.

Adding to the excitement, the tour will feature John Waite as the opening act, ensuring concertgoers are treated to a night filled with hits spanning several decades.

Expressing their enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, James “JY” Young, the founding guitarist of Styx, shared, “We’re very excited to be sharing the concert stage with Foreigner and John Waite in the summer of 2024.

We have previously toured with Foreigner, and the result was that both bands kicked (butt) and had a great time doing it. Looking forward to seeing everybody this summer!”

Foreigner’s Farewell Tour Takes a Turn

Foreigner, known for hits like “I Want to Know What Love Is” and “Juke Box Hero,” had previously announced a farewell tour.

However, the Renegade & Juke Box Heroes tour signals a deviation from their farewell plans, adding a new chapter to their storied career. The farewell tour, which began this summer, will extend through 2024.

Kelly Hansen, the lead singer of Foreigner, expressed his excitement, saying, “As we continue on with our farewell tour, I have been very moved by the support and reaction of all of our fans. To perform these next shows with our friends Styx and John Waite makes it even better. I am so looking forward to spending many beautiful summer nights all around the country, full of great classic rock music and great friends.”

For fans eager to witness this epic collaboration, tickets will go on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. on December 8.

Prior to the general sale, several presales will commence at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, offering early access to secure seats for what promises to be a memorable night of classic rock.

The Renegade & Juke Box Heroes tour is not just a concert; it’s a celebration of the enduring legacy of Styx and Foreigner.

As these rock legends come together once again, audiences can anticipate a journey back in time, fueled by the timeless tunes that have become the soundtrack of multiple generations.
