Tfue acknowledged that he had once used gaming as an escape from reality, but that he was now discovering that reality had become his new escape from work.

At the age of 25, he acknowledged the weight of spending the majority of his life in front of a screen and expressed a desire to explore new opportunities outside the gaming sector.

Tfue had established himself in the Fortnite scene and had a sizable fan base, so the news shocked and saddened the gaming community.
