Many TV shows forever stay in our minds because of their amazing and unforgettable storylines but many times there are also those TV shows that are so bad that they cannot be forgotten. Here we have 10 TV shows everyone regrets watching.
Skins U.S.
The American version of Skins is a prime example of something gone horribly wrong. The American version was canceled after one season due to low ratings and criticism of the show’s sexual content. The show tried to reflect the raw and gritty reality of the UK original, which followed a group of teens navigating the complexities of puberty.
Insatiable
The program follows an overweight teenager who transforms into a beauty pageant competitor with the help of a discredited coach and a strict diet plan. The sitcom employs dark comedy to attack beauty standards and societal expectations, yet it falls short owing to the excessive usage of stereotypes and social criticism.
Cop Rock
This brief program aimed to turn two opposing genres into television gold. The outcome was undeniably unique, but not in a favorable sense. The sudden tone changes are uncomfortable to watch. Owing to low ratings and negative reviews, the program was canceled after 11 episodes.
Cavemen
This show started with good intentions but eventually became unwatchable. It features a tribe of Cro-Magnons navigating modern-day San Diego, attempting to tackle serious issues via comedy, but the first episode generated anger. Due to a series of bad reviews, the show was canceled.
Velma
This 2023 HBO Max series, a modern, adult-oriented retelling of the Mystery Inc. genesis tale from Velma’s perspective, has received the most criticism among Scooby-Doo media. The show surely does not do itself any favors, as per the viewers.
Charlie’s Angels
ABC revived the popular ‘70s show, hoping to reach a new audience. Placing it in the worst possible category, the show received a 0% rating. The biggest issue is that no one involved seems to believe in it, which is clear when you watch it.
Inhumans
A major flop. It ran on ABC for one season before being canceled due to low ratings and poor feedback. The show was a complete disappointment in every possible way.
That ‘80s Show
To garner the same attraction as its predecessor, owing to a focus on nostalgia for a decade that viewers had not yet learned about, this program, which debuted in 2002, failed. Even if you liked the original series, you will most probably dislike this boring sitcom since it has no original characters.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
Viewers slammed the show for its invasive visual effects and its approach to feminist comedy, which eventually contradicted its well-rounded female perspective with ‘girl boss’ and ‘men suck’ jokes. Despite its apparent flaws, the show has some of its good moments, but not enough to justify its existence.
The Idol
This HBO series follows the toxic relationship between a pop diva and an abusive club owner and cult leader. Many people watched it out of curiosity or general interest, but their response was mostly negative.
